Transform Your Secure Web Gateway into a Powerful GenAI Governance and Security Platform

Press Release

Portal26 Recognized in Gartner® 2023 Innovation Guide for Artificial Intelligence Trust, Risk, and Security Management

Portal26, the award-winning Generative AI (GenAI) visibility and data security tech leader formerly known as Titaniam, was recently named in the 2023 Gartner® Innovation Guide for Artificial Intelligence Trust, Risk, and Security Management (AI TRiSM). This mention comes after Portal26’s release of its own AI TRiSM SaaS platform meant to aid enterprises in gaining valuable insight into GenAI use across internal networks.

As C-suite and executive leadership invest in and implement generative AI, platforms like Portal26 that provide in-depth visibility and insight into GenAI use across the enterprise will be essential.

“Portal26’s inclusion fully validates the importance of visibility as a foundational component of building a Generative AI program, along with governance, security and education,” said Arti Raman, founder and CEO of Portal26. “Generative AI is not going away any time soon, and it’s likely to become bigger as more tools and technologies are developed. But right now, we are all experimenting with Generative AI, trying to figure out what works best. Generative AI can be a powerful tool with the potential to impact productivity and business growth positively. It is, however, also a double-edged sword without governance and visibility to help guide its usage. We can expect more AI regulation over the next year, and soon, the companies who research and invest in tools that help to create solid foundations for their AI programs and encourage ethical, responsible AI use will gain the competitive edge.”

A survey conducted with CensusWide, the 2023 State of GenAI survey, highlights a growing interest in harnessing GenAI’s power for productivity and growth while companies still struggle with GenAI-related security incidents.

  • Eighty-four percent (84%) of the 400+ C-Suite and IT professionals polls indicated that they have invested in or are planning to invest in GenAI.
  • Of this number, the majority (85%) expressed concerns over privacy and security risks.
  • And over half (58%) indicated their employees receive less than five hours of annual education and training on GenAI.
